Rovers rally back to win

Featherstone came from 12-0 down at Widnes to win 32-24 in the Co-operative Championship elimination play-off.

Rovers' reward is a trip to Halifax in next Thursday's final eliminator, with the winners facing Barrow in the October 4 Grand Final.

Early tries from Gavin Dodd and Lee Doran, both converted by Tim Hartley, put the Vikings in command but Featherstone hauled themselves level thanks to tries by Andy Kain and Carl Briggs.

Iesytn Harris kicked both conversions and added a penalty on the stroke of half-time to edge his side 14-12 in front.

And it was all Rovers in the second half as further tries from Waine Pryce and Jack Lee took them into a 26-12 lead.

Tries from Shane Grady and Richard Varkulis, both converted by Hartley, brought the home side to within two points but Harris' 78th-minute try saw Rovers through.
