Tigers battle back for victory

A fine second-half comeback from Castleford saw the Tigers end a four-game losing run with a 20-16 win over Catalans and claim their second Engage Super League win of the season.

The Dragons players had joined over 100 fans in clearing 40 centimetres of snow from the pitch during the week and they made an excellent start to open up a 10-0 lead thanks to Chris Walker and Jamal Fakir scores.

But the visitors roared back to score four unanswered tries through Mitchell Sargent, Rangi Chase, Stuart Jones and Michael Wainwright and assume a 20-10 lead, meaning a late try from Casey McGuire was not enough for the French side.
