Crusaders' move from south to north Wales will be finalised over the weekend.
A press conference to confirm the switch has been called for Tuesday at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham FC, which will be home for the old Bridgend club from 2010.
The move comes after current backer Leighton Samuel accepted a bid by a consortium led by Wrexham FC chairman Geoff Moss to take over the franchise.
Although the club are making no official comment, it is understood the Crusaders will play 11 games at the Racecourse next year, including the opening fixture of engage Super League XV against defending champions Leeds on Friday, January 29.
They will play their other two home games "on the road", probably at Neath's famous old Gnoll ground, which was unveiled today as the home of new Championship One club South Wales RLFC.
