Keith Senior of Leeds Rhinos continues his reign as Super League's top try scorer and the player who has played in most rounds since the new era was launched in 1996. The centre has scored 178 tries in 349 rounds, including three as a substitute. He has missed only 25 rounds.
Senior played and scored a try in the first ever Super League match, for Sheffield Eagles at Paris St. Germain in 1996. Keiron Cunningham of St Helens is the only other player still playing in Super League who played in the first round.
Senior is one of only five players remaining who have played in all 14 previous Super League seasons. The others are Cunningham, Paul Johnson (Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, ex Warrington Wolves, Bradford Bulls, Wigan Warriors), Sean Long (Hull FC, ex St Helens, Wigan Warriors), Terry Newton (Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, ex Bradford Bulls, Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors).
St Helens have retained their place as the most successful Super League club in terms of number of points gained over the 14 seasons since it was launched in 1996.
